The new limited edition Blancpain Ocean Commitment IV is more than just a dive watch – it’s a statement of commitment to the ocean and a showcase of high-end watchmaking. Limited to just 100 pieces worldwide, this exceptional timepiece is a collector’s dream and a beacon of environmental responsibility.
Blancpain, deeply involved in ocean preservation for over 20 years, adopts the celebrated design of the Fifty Fathoms 70th Anniversary Act 2 Tech Gombessa for the BOC IV. The 45 mm Grade 23 titanium case, known for its strength and lightweight nature, is equipped with a helium escape valve, ideal for saturation diving.
The unidirectional bezel with domed black ceramic insert is angled toward the dial for ease of use, even with diving gloves. The absolute black dial absorbs up to 97% of light, offering optimal underwater readability, supported by domed, luminous hour markers.
At its heart, the watch beats with the renowned Caliber 1315A – an automatic movement with a 120-hour power reserve and an anti-magnetic silicon balance spring. The sapphire caseback reveals exquisite finishing and an 18K gold rotor engraved with the blue BOC logo.
The integrated black rubber strap, combined with inward-set lugs, provides exceptional comfort and a contemporary look. With a water resistance of up to 30 bar (300 meters), the watch is built for both professional and recreational divers.
Moreover, the BOC IV represents responsibility: for each timepiece sold, Blancpain will donate €1,000 to the Sulubaaï Marine Research Center.
