Ø 33.00 mm
In 1993, Chopard introduced a new vision of watchmaking by combining stainless steel and diamonds in a timepiece for the first time. Designed by Caroline Scheufele, the original Happy Sport challenged traditional ideas of luxury watch design, bringing together the brilliance of precious stones and the contemporary character of steel. Happy Sport The First faithfully revisits this original creation and the distinctive idea that shaped an entire collection.
At its heart are seven freely moving diamonds, dancing between the dial and the sapphire crystal with every movement of the wrist. Their ever-changing play of light gives the watch its lively character and makes them a defining feature of the Happy Sport design. The silver-toned, grained dial provides a subtle backdrop for the diamonds, which have a total weight of 0.21 carats.
The 33 mm case combines ethical 18-carat yellow gold with Chopard Lucent Steel™. Its distinctive bracelet also brings the two materials together, featuring rounded links inspired by the smooth shape of pebbles. A quartz movement powers the watch. With its iconic design, precious materials and playful diamonds, Happy Sport The First remains a distinctive expression of Chopard’s approach to contemporary watchmaking.
