Chopard Happy Sport The First R.278640-4001 Ø 33 mm

Description

Lucent Steel and ethical 18-carat yellow gold define the two-tone design of this Chopard Happy Sport The First. The cool tone of steel meets the warmth of gold, which is also used for the crown. Its pebble bracelet combines both materials in rounded links, giving the watch a pronounced jewellery character.

Seven moving diamonds animate the finely grained, silver-toned dial. Their yellow gold settings echo the warm tones of the case and bracelet. Weighing a total of 0.21 carats, the stones move and spin freely between two sapphire crystals. Their changing positions lend the dial a lively quality while preserving its restrained background.

Happy Sport The First revisits the original design of the collection created by Caroline Scheufele in 1993. Pairing steel with freely moving diamonds gave the jewellery watch a more informal expression. In this 33 mm version, yellow gold adds a clear contrast between materials.

The round case measures 9.68 mm in thickness and houses a quartz movement with a seconds display. Sapphire crystal protects the front, and water resistance is rated to 30 metres. A folding clasp secures the bracelet. The interplay of two-tone pebble links and seven freely moving diamonds gives this version its individual appeal.
