Description
Housed in a robust yet refined 41-millimetre stainless steel case, the IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 features a dial and rubber strap in the exclusive IWC TOP GUN Miramar color, developed in collaboration with PANTONE®. The distinctive light blue tone pays tribute to the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego, the original home of the U.S. Navy’s TOPGUN program, and echoes the shirts traditionally worn by TOPGUN instructors.
The rhodium-plated hands, filled with Super-LumiNova®, ensure exceptional legibility in all lighting conditions. The dial layout is classic IWC: vertical subdials with the chronograph minutes placed at 12 o’clock, allowing for intuitive reading of elapsed time. A day-and-date display is positioned at 3 o’clock, offering practical functionality alongside the chronograph counters and small seconds subdial.
At the heart of the watch is the IWC-manufactured calibre 69385, a mechanical chronograph movement with a column-wheel architecture. This high-performance calibre features a bidirectional pawl winding system, delivering a 46-hour power reserve when fully wound. The precision and craftsmanship of the movement can be admired through the transparent sapphire glass case back.
The watch is water-resistant to 10 bar (100 meters), making it a dependable companion in a variety of environments. The light blue rubber strap not only complements the dial for a cohesive look, but also includes the IWC EasX-CHANGE® system, allowing for quick, tool-free strap changes—ideal for those who value versatility and comfort.
