GENERAL WATCH REPAIRS

We carry out almost all simple watch repairs in our workshop. The process is as follows:

We inform you in advance of the maximum possible repair cost. At this point, you can already decide whether this service is worthwhile for you or not.

Then, the watchmaker examines your watch and determines the damage. After that, we provide you with an exact cost estimate and the repair duration (the duration depends on the availability of the individual spare parts). If you agree with the repair costs, we proceed. Otherwise, you will receive your watch back in the shortest possible time.

WATCH REPAIRS FOR HIGH-END WATCHES

All high-quality mechanical watches are sent to the brand’s headquarters. These highly specialized watch workshops have the extensive know-how of watchmakers who are precisely trained for these timepieces. As soon as your watch leaves our premises, it is, of course, fully insured.

The watchmakers check your watch and prepare both a cost estimate and a time estimate for the repair. The age of the watch plays a decisive role in this.

Major brands often release hundreds of new watch models per year. Over time, a brand’s spare parts warehouse accumulates an enormous number of tiny components. It may happen that an original spare part is no longer in stock. Consequently, watch repairs can sometimes take longer.

If your watch is older than about 15 years, it becomes increasingly difficult for all brands to keep the original parts in stock. Often, these parts then need to be painstakingly manufactured by hand. For these specialized services, the cost and time involved are generally quite high.

This method of carrying out watch repairs offers the following advantages:

1. All spare parts used are original (non-original spare parts greatly reduce the overall value of a watch).

2. Depending on the brand, you receive a warranty of 1 to 2 years on the repair carried out.
